Welcome to the official website of 276 (City of Chelmsford) Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Located on Springfield Road, Chelmsford. We are the second largest squadron in Essex with over 100 cadets aged 12 to 20, from all over Chelmsford and the surrounding villages.

Each year we take part in many activities including Flying, Gliding, Target Shooting, Adventure Training, Team Building, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, model making, radio and various sports like Football, Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming. We also get the opportunity to spend a week on an RAF base in the UK as well as attend adventure training and leadership camps in Europe and beyond!

The Squadron was formed in 1945 and still lives by the motto “Many Minds One Heart” supporting the local community and striving for excellence.
